A slow moving but dangerous tornado cut a swath through Montgomery County Wednesday evening hitting some Gaithersburg neighborhoods very hard. Five residents who were inside their house made it out alive but their home did not fair as well. A huge tree in their side yard was uprooted, crushing the front portion of their home.
Repair, landscaping and clean-up crews, PEPCO workers, police and members of the Red Cross were in the neighborhood for the aftermath Thursday.
MCM was on the scene talking to neighbors who have lived in the same house for over 60 years.
