Police said a man was arrested and charged with killing a man following a reported shooting Sunday in Gaithersburg.
Anthony Blackford, 39, was arrested Tuesday, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). He is currently being held without bond.
According to police, officers responded to the 19700 block of North Frederick Ave. at about 5:11 a.m. Sunday for a reported shooting.
Police stated that officers found Gadji with an apparent gunshot wound. He succumbed to his injuries at a hospital. An autopsy determined his death to be a homicide.
Detectives identified Blackford as the suspect through investigation and got an arrest warrant for him, according to police.
