Montgomery County Park Police charged a driver with being under the influence when the driver’s car ended up in the creek at Burnt Mills West Special Park on Colesville Road in Silver Spring.
At 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning, an officer observed the car hop a curb and then drive off a six-foot wall into a creek bed.
Emergency responders assisted at the scene. The driver refused treatment, according to police.
The car was pulled from the creek.
