Virtual Briefing: Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, County Health Officer Dr. Travis Gayles and Emergency Management and Homeland Security Director Dr. Earl Stoddard will hold a virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. Residents can watch the briefing on Facebook Live and on County Cable Montgomery (CCM).

2. Silver Spring Food Distribution: Pick up boxed groceries and meals from 1-3 p.m. at 31 Norwood Road in Silver Spring.

3. Downtown Bethesda Traffic: Until Friday, construction in Bethesda will reduce Wisconsin Avenue (MD 355) southbound traffic to a single lane between Elm Street and Bethesda Avenue from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Residents can expect other closures outside of construction hours this week.
4. Senior Planet Montgomery: Senior Planet Montgomery continues offering free Zoom classes to Senior residents. Today’s classes include “Creative Writing Club” and “Mindfulness and Meditation.”
