Montgomery County has activated a Hyperthermia Alert Monday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. It’s the fifth day in a row for such an alert.
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Heat Advisory for Central, Southeast and Northwest Montgomery County from noon to 8 p.m. Monday. NWS says to expect heat index between 100 to 105 degrees and to stay hydrated and take precautions to protect yourself and pets from heat-related illnesses:
