Police said detectives are investigating the death of a 3-year-old who was found in a pool in Rockville on Friday.
County Emergency Communications received a call for a missing boy close to 11:45 p.m. Friday, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). Rockville Police responded to Elmcroft Court where the boy was found in the neighborhood pool. Officers provided CPR and the boy was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. MCPD detectives were notified. The investigation is ongoing.
No foul play is suspected, according to MCPD. MCPD will not release the child’s name.
