1. Instacart Joins County: In less than one month, participants in MC Groceries, Montgomery County’s newest program to fight food insecurity and childhood hunger, already placed more than 700 grocery orders using their Instacart Health Fresh Funds.

2. Takoma Park City Council: At 7:30 p.m., the Takoma Park City Council will have a public meeting in the auditorium at the Takoma Park Community Center. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube, the City Council video webpageFacebook, or City TV. See the meeting agenda here.

3. Red Line Stations Reopened: Four Metro Red Line stations that were closed for three months are now open: Glenmont, Wheaton, Forest Glen, and Silver Spring.

5. ICYMI: The new academic year is now underway for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). Last week at Albert Einstein High School, the marching band, student dancers and poms kicked off the year outside the school.
