1. Council President Briefing: Council President Andrew Friedson will hold his weekly media briefing at 11:30 a.m. He’ll discuss the Council’s expected straw votes on the 2024-2028 Growth and Infrastructure Policy. The policy sets standards for evaluating public infrastructure like schools, transportation, and water systems, and how new development may impact them. 2. Community Conversation: County Executive Marc Elrich and partners will host a discussion on the Fiscal Year 2026 operating budget, focusing on older adults’ needs.
