In-Person Early Voting Runs Oct. 24-31 at 14 Centers

In-person early voting for the Maryland General Election begins on Thursday, Oct. 24, and will run through Thursday, Oct. 31. Early voting centers across the county will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters can choose from 14 early voting centers in Montgomery County. To register to vote, you can do so on-site during early voting or on Election Day. Make sure to bring proof of residence to complete your registration.

In addition to voting in person, registered voters have other options. You can vote by mail by requesting a mail-in ballot, with the request due by Oct. 29 if sent by mail or by Nov. 1 for web delivery. Completed mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 5 or dropped off at a ballot box by 8 p.m. that day.

For those voting on Election Day, polling places will be open on Nov. 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters can find their designated polling place using the Maryland State Board of Elections’ online portal.

Be sure to check the list of early voting centers in Montgomery County for the most convenient location to cast your vote during the early voting period. To find an early voting location, you can text EV and your ZIP code to 77788. Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Ride On bus service has several routes available to transport voters to the early voting centers.
