Parking meter enforcement has been suspended at polling locations – including the Silver Spring Civic Building and the Connie Morella Library in Bethesda – after many complained according to councilmember Andrew Friedson.
Friedson stressed on X that “parkers must use legal spaces – no parking/standing/stopping will still be enforced.”
After @MCDOTNow reviewed other polling sites, @MCDOT_Parking will also suspend enforcement in the garage and on-street next to the Silver Spring Civic Bldg today.
