As of 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Democrat April McClain Delaney and Republican Neil Parrott were locked in a very tight race for the congressional seat in District 6 which covers Garrett, Allegany, Frederick, Washington counties and a portion of Montgomery County.
At this writing, Parrott leads by 1.72 % of the votes or 5,248 total votes with 1 85 of 214 election day precincts reporting.
