Personnel from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue (MCFR) and Animal Services rescued a goose from a tree in North Bethesda Friday morning.
According to MCFR Spokesperson Pete Piringer, a passerby noticed the goose stuck in the tree on Citadel Avenue off Old Georgetown Road.
Three people used a ladder to climb a fence to get near the goose, who was “not happy,” according to one of the rescuers. They wrapped a blanket around the goose and then placed the bird in a cage.
