About the NextGen Media Lab

The NextGen Media Lab at Montgomery Community Media provides middle and high school students with immersive, hands-on media training, emphasizing workforce development. Through access to professional-grade equipment and real-world projects, students build practical skills for future careers in media and storytelling. Housed within the Digital Futures Institute, the lab fosters technological exploration, creative expression, and career readiness, empowering young creatives to engage with the digital media landscape and develop the skills needed for success in the evolving media industry.
