Detectives Investigate Bethesda Retail Thefts

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Station are investigating a series of thefts that occurred at CVS Pharmacy, Target and Gap stores in Chevy Chase and Bethesda. Detectives have released video and images of ten suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
From Aug. 11 to Nov. 24, 2024, the suspects entered the following stores, grabbed an undisclosed amount of merchandise, and left the scene without paying:
Sunday, August 11: CVS Pharmacy at 3820 Chaplin Place
Friday, August 23: Target at 6831 Wisconsin Avenue
Monday, August 26: CVS Pharmacy at 3820 Chaplin Place
Thursday, September 12: Target at 6831 Wisconsin Avenue
Wednesday, October 2: Gap at 5430 Wisconsin Avenue
Friday, October 11: CVS Pharmacy at 7809 Wisconsin Avenue
Friday, October 11: CVS Pharmacy at 3820 Chaplin Place
Thursday, November 14: Target at 6831 Wisconsin Avenue
Sunday, November 24: Target at 6831 Wisconsin Avenue
Detectives reviewed the surveillance cameras of the stores and obtained videos and images of the suspects.
