Eric Leudtke, Gov. Wes Moore’s chief legislative officer, has a new position. On Wednesday, he became Moore’s senior policy advisor.
Leudtke, who is married to Montgomery County Councilmember Dawn Luedtke, previously was a delegate representing District 14.
Jeremy Baker, who was chief of staff to Maryland House of Delegates Speaker Adrienne A. Jones, is now Moore’s chief legislative officer.
“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Eric Luedtke in recognition of his unwavering passion for serving the people of Maryland,” Moore said. “I look forward to Eric’s continued contribution to our team in his new role as senior policy advisor as we welcome Jeremy Baker to the Moore-Miller Administration.”
The changes were made as Maryland enters a new legislative session with a large budget deficit.
