Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will host an in-person community meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 15, to discuss safety improvements near Wheaton Woods Elementary School. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the school’s All Purpose Room at 4510 Faroe Place.
MCDOT will present a concept design addressing safety enhancements at four key intersections: Faroe Place at Evanston Street, Freeland Road, Parkland Drive, and Grenoble at Parkland Drive. Residents are encouraged to provide input and suggest improvements during the session.
No registration is required. Attendees can review the concept plan beforehand on the project website. Written comments can be submitted via email at walkyourway@montgomerycountymd.gov or by phone at 240-777-2192 through Friday, Feb. 14. Interpreter services are available with a five-business-day notice.
