The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDT) is spreading love this month by decorating five Flash buses servicing Colesville Road and Columbia Pike on U.S. 29 with vibrant neon heart-shaped lights and heart decals.

The county’s bus rapid transit service, Flash, has also given its stations at Four Corners, Burnt Mills, White Oak, and Briggs-Chaney a Valentine’s Day makeover.

Have you seen the love on the buses? Snap a photo for a chance to win a $25 gift card!

MCDOT invites Montgomery County residents to enter a weekly drawing by posting pictures of the decorated buses or stations on social media platforms like Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X and tagging @MCDOTNow. The contest will run through Feb. 28.

The Flash fare is $1 per ride, and Seniors 65+, persons with special needs, and youth 18 and under all ride for free using specialized Smart Trip cards.
