
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is providing transportation services through local bus routes for federal employees returning to in-person work.
According to a press release from the Montgomery County Government, MCDOT Ride On, the local bus system in the county, will service federal work locations across the county, as well as larger transit hubs to facilitate travel into Washington. Passengers who ride Metro buses or rails will receive a free same-day transfer to Ride On services.
Ride On will facilitate bus routes near a variety of major federal offices in the county, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Silver Spring and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda. A full list of bus routes can be found here, or within the press release.
