Takoma Park Police officers are investigating a shooting in the 6500 block of New Hampshire Avenue on Wednesday.
The shooting occurred at close range, striking a victim, who was transported to a local hospital. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The suspect fled the area on a moped police believe belongs to the victim.
