1. Schools Closed: Today marks the first day of spring break for Montgomery County Public Schools. Students return to class Tuesday, April 22.
2. Tabletop Games for Adults: Head to Gaithersburg Library from 4:30–7:30 p.m. for an evening of card and board games, including Eurogames, strategy games and party games. Bring a favorite game from home to share. More information.

4. Wheaton Regional Park Carousel: A new carousel is now open at Wheaton Regional Park. It operates weekends and during MCPS spring break. Tickets are $4 per ride.
5. Police Awards Ceremony: The Montgomery County Police Department recognized officers Wednesday during a ceremony at Public Safety Headquarters in Gaithersburg
