Gen. Gus Perna, a four-star Army general and CEO of Operation Warp Speed visited Holy Cross Health Dec. 29. He took time to speak with front line health care workers and checked to see that everything was ready to begin the second round of vaccinations starting the first week in January.
As of his visit, 1,500 of the 6,000 employees had been vaccinated during a seven-day period. Another 2,500 employees are expected to be vaccinated during the next week.
