Maryland Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford (R) is criticizing President Trump on Twitter as Pro-Trump protestors are breaching the U.S. Capitol.

Gov. Larry Hogan also condemned the protestors, tweeting, “All Americans should be outraged by this attack on our nation’s Capitol. This is a heinous and violent assault on the heart of our democracy. I will not stand for this, and neither should any American.”
Hogan directed Maryland State Police to send troopers in to Washington, D.C.
