A Silver Spring man was shot and killed in the White Oak area on Sunday, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Police identified Jerome Antoine Durant, 40, as the victim. Around 9:17 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1500 block of November Circle for a reported shooting. Police found Durant suffering a suspected gunshot wound and he died at a hospital. This is an active homicide investigation, according to police.
