The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for southeast Montgomery County from 4 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.
According to the NWS, this portion of the county can expect an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches of snow.

The hazardous winter weather conditions could impact the evening commute. NWS advises travelers to use caution while driving and walking on slippery surfaces.
The advisory is also in effect for the District of Columbia, portions of central Maryland and central and northern Virginia.
