Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) established 103 in-person Equity Hubs for kindergarten through fifth grade students transitioning to virtual learning.
The Hubs provide a safe and more structured learning environment for students who may not have access to virtual learning at home or whose parents work during school hours, according to an MCPS bulletin.
Families are now able to register for all-day child care and support at one of the Hubs across the county, the bulletin said.
