Blair Witch Heritage Hike: Did you know that most of the 1999 horror classic film The Blair Witch Project was shot in Seneca Creek State Park? Learn how this horror classic came to be filmed in Maryland and visit some of the shoot locations with a hike led by Ranger Ledbetter Oct. 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. at 16820 Black Rock Road, Germantown. Baltimore Symphony Orchestra: Mozart Violin Concerto: The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is coming to Strathmore on Oct. 26. Austrian conductor David Dansmayr leads the orchestra and violinist Stefan Jackiw in a program of Viennese masterpieces by Webern, Mozart, Schubert, and J. Silver Spring Zombie Walk: This popular event returns Oct. 26 in downtown Silver Spring for the 11th year. Dress up as your favorite Zombie or just join in the fun. DJ Kenny will spin tunes at Denizens where there will be beer, food, and candy. The pre-party starts at 6 p.m. at Denizens Brewing Co, 1115 East-West Highway. Fall Frolic: Glen Echo Park hosts their annual Halloween-themed family event Oct. 26. There will be hands-on crafts, Halloween activities, trick-or-treating and an opportunity to visit open art studios. Come in costume and enter the contest.
