Montgomery Parks announced a new, free Acoustic & Ales series, beginning April 22.
Families are welcomed to attend three separate Friday night events, featuring locally crafted beer, food, nonalcoholic beverages, and live music. Registration is not required.
The first event will take place on April 22 at Elm Street Urban Park, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Craft beer will be available for purchase, courtesy of True Respite Brewing and 7 Locks Brewing. Pop Up Poutine Food Truck and Giacomo’s Brick Oven Pizza will be serving up good eats, while Ted Garber will be providing great tunes.
On April 29, the second event will take place at Fairview Road Urban Park, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. AstroLab Brewing and Silver Branch Brewing Company will provide craft brews, and Catalyst Hot Dogs will provide food. The musical guest will be announced soon.
The final event will take place on May 13, at Germantown Center Urban Park, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Craft beer will be served by Waredaca Brewing Company and Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company. Food will be provided by O’Boy Pizza and Traditional Authentic Mexican Food. Capital Effect, who would have performed at the cancelled Parks Ale Trail event, will play the night away.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. This series is stroller and wheelchair accessible.
Parking accessibility may vary by location. Montgomery Parks encourages attendees to visit their website to plan ahead.
