Councilmembers Craig Rice, Will Jawando and Nancy Navarro introduced a proclamation commemorating Montgomery College’s anniversary with Rice commenting on how the college’s mission is similar to the county’s mission of diversity and inclusivity.
“Since [Montgomery College] was created, it really wanted to be a place where there was an opportunity for all to achieve higher education,” Rice said.
