A time capsule buried in Rockville in May 1995 is going to be unearthed in May – 25 years later.
The capsule was buried at the Rockville Senior Center, filled with memorabilia from the last century, according to a plaque marking the location of the capsule.
People who donated items for the capsule were given a receipt, so they can claim their items when the capsule is opened. The senior center asks anyone with a receipt, or anyone who thinks a loved one left an item for them, to contact the Rockville Senior Center at seniorcenter@rockvillemd.gov or 240-314-8800.
