2.Makeover Montgomery: Three-day conference will focus on all aspects of planning for resilience in the areas of the economy, neighborhoods, infrastructure, and the environment.

3. Car Free Day: The county is incentivizing residents to walk, bike, or use public transit instead of driving their cars through free giveaways and raffle drawings for gift cards.

4. Councilmember for a Day Challenge: The deadline to register for the student video contest sponsored by Councilmember Craig Rice has been extended to Thursday, Sept. 22.

5. Art Exhibit: The exhibit opens Sept. 22. Glenstone Museum is open Thursday-Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is free but does require a ticket. Visit the Glenstone webpage to schedule a visit. The museum is located at 12100 Glen Road in Potomac.
