The county recreation department offers programs for elementary school aged children throughout the school year. The program known as Kids Day Out provides parents an option for their children when the public schools have scheduled days off.
The program takes place at various recreation centers beginning Monday, Sept. 26. The cost to participate in the program is $25 for one day or $120 for a package that includes all scheduled days off from September through April.
The Kids Day Out program is available on Sept. 26, Oct. 5, Oct. 24, Nov. 7, Jan. 27, March 31, and April 21.

“Kids Day Out” offers full-day programming from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students should make sure to bring lunch. Registration is available at ActiveMontgomery.org.
