Investigators from the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division are asking the public to help identify suspects in connection to a Jan. 10 home invasion robbery in Fairland. The detectives released surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public to provide information regarding the suspects’ identities.
On Jan. 10, officers responded to a report of home invasion robbery, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Department of Police. Detectives determined that the victim was asleep upstairs when the two suspects entered the home.
The first suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and told them to cover their head with a blanket, according to police. Then, the first suspect stole a safe – belonging to the victim – and other property. A second suspect is believed to have acted as a lookout, according to the press release.
The first suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, and weighing about 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, a black mask, a gray hoodie, black gloves, and red sneakers. The second suspect is described as a black man about 5 feet, 10 inches, to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black coat, blue jeans, black gloves, and black sneakers.
Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding these suspects or this home invasion robbery to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.
