1. Council President Briefing: Council President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media briefing today at 11 a.m. The briefing will be streamed on the Council’s Facebook page here.
2. Little Falls Parkway Pilot: Phase two of the pilot project to create a park from two lanes of the four-lane road begins today. The purpose of the pilot project is to determine the feasibility of using two lanes of Little Falls Parkway between Arlington Road and Dorset Avenue for pedestrian and bike use. More information.

4. Municipal Monday: The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. Part of the meeting will be held in closed session. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. for a regular session. The agenda and information may be found online.
5. Dog Adoption Event: The Montgomery County Animal Adoption Center is waiving the fee to adopt dogs from now through Oct. 31. Learn more here.
