1.Maple Sugaring Days: February is Maple Sugaring Month at Brookside Nature Center. You’ll have an  opportunity to experience an American tradition. 2. Purple Line Business Workshop: This workshop is geared toward businesses that will be impacted by construction of the Purple Line. Learn how to use merchandising to promote your business during and after construction. 3. Celebrate FeBREWary: Residents have the opportunity to save money and energy by trading in old incandescent or compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs for free LED light bulbs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brookeville Beer Farm [20315 Georgia Avenue].

4. Rockville Fair and Impartial Community Police Training: This training is geared for those interested in learning bias-free behavior in community policing and will give community members the tools to better communicate with police officers so that community members and police can work together and make their community safer and more resilient. 5. It’s Library Lovers Month:  Throughout the month of February, stop into the Gaithersburg Library and write a note about a book you love to enter into a raffle for a Bookish Gift Basket.
