1. Elections: More than 41,000 county residents cast ballots during early voting which ended Thursday. Tuesday, Nov. 8 the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 8 at midnight if returning by U.S. Postal Service or deposited in any election drop box by 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.
2. Game of the Week: MyMCM is covering the Richard Montgomery (3-6) at Churchill (7-2) football game tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the first round of the class 4A playoffs. 3. ICYMI: Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers conducted mock traffic stops to show drivers with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities what to do if they are pulled over.
4. STEAM Festival: Montgomery County Public Schools hosts a STEAM festival on Saturday to bring students and educators together to learn about science, technology, engineering, art and math. The festival takes place at Northwood High School in Silver Spring from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
5. Mark Your Calendar: Montgomery Community Media (MCM) invites you to a fundraiser and cocktail reception on Wednesday, November 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Center. The event will feature music, a raffle of local art from award-winning artists, amazing food and cocktails.
