Montgomery County Recreation opens registration for winter programs and activities on Monday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 a.m.
A wide variety of classes and programs designed to help participants stay active and have fun are available this winter. Offerings include fitness, sports, visual and performing arts and more.
Online registration is available at ActiveMontgomery.org. In person registration is available at Germantown Indoor Swim Center, Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Swim Center, Olney Swim Center, Long Branch Community Recreation Center, North Potomac Community Recreation Center, Wheaton Community Recreation Center, White Oak Community Recreation Center.

The ActiveMontgomery website features a tool to “Build Your Own Guide” online. Residents can build their own guide based on their interests using the guide tool on mocoguide.com. The steps are as follows:
- Select topics that interest you, choosing from program categories organized by topic.
- Choose locations of your choice.
- Specify your age range.
- Review your selection and create a guide.
