It may have been cold Saturday, but that didn’t stop area residents from coming out to the Silver Spring Thanksgiving Parade in Downtown Silver Spring.
There were floats, inflatables, multiple high school band performances, and of course, lots of politicians, including Lieutenant Governor-Elect Aruna Miller, participating in the parade.
Santa Claus and Rudolph marked the end of the parade and the beginning of the Christmas season.
