A woman who was critically injured in a fatal Aspen Hill fire has died.
She succumbed to her injuries and died in a hospital, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer shared Wednesday. A man was previously pronounced dead after the fire Monday night on Oriental Street.
One blended family is displaced, Piringer shared on Twitter. The homeowner lost his wife and father-in-law, and a family of five was living in the downstairs apartment of the house.
The fire was electrical in nature and began in the basement around an electrical panel, Piringer said.
