Police said four juveniles were charged after a girl was stabbed Friday in Gaithersburg.
Gaithersburg Police Department (GPD) and Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers responded to Grand Corner Avenue at about 7:23 p.m. for a reported stabbing, according to GPD.
Officers found a girl suffering from lacerations, and they administered first aid until fire and rescue personnel arrived. The victim was taken to a hospital with superficial and non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
GPD said officers located and charged four juveniles with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. They were released to their parents.
