Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation is holding free workshops for residents age 50+ to build confidence riding the Metro.
Attendees will learn how to read the Metro map, travel to destinations of their choosing and use station emergency and accessibility features. Information will be provided on how to save money by registering for a Senior SmarTrip fare card.
The next workshops are April 18 at the Holiday Park Senior Center and April 21 at the Benjamin Gaither Center.
Advance registration is required. Seats can be reserved by calling 301-738-3252.
