Montgomery County Police are offering a reward of up to $15,000 for any information about a burglary and attempted burglary of a gun store in Rockville.
In November, a burglary and attempted burglary happened at Atlantic Guns on Frederick Road, almost a week apart. According to the ATF, around 4 a.m. on Nov. 19, police responded to the store and found a stolen vehicle on a sidewalk. Surveillance video then showed authorities that several suspects tried to ram the stolen car into the store, but nothing was stolen.
Then on Nov. 25 around 1 a.m., police responded to the same store for a report of a burglary in progress. This time they were successful in ramming a stolen black sedan to get into the store. four suspects entered the store and took seven pistols and five rifles.
Officials are asking anyone with information about the burglaries to call the ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS.
