The Montgomery County Committee Against Hate Violence is sponsoring a panel discussion about hate, bias, violence and bullying within MCPS Monday evening.
The discussion begins at 7 p.m. at the Gaithersburg Library and will also be live streamed here. Audience members are welcome to participate in the conversation.
The panel will include Guila Siegel, the associate director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Washington, D.C.; Lisa Taylor, the chair of the Committee Against Hate Violence; Ryvell Fitzpatrick, Montgomery County Board of Education’s ombudsman; Demon Monteleone, MCPS’s associate superintendent; and Stephanie Sheron, MCPS’s chief of strategic initiatives.
This discussion is the second in a series of conversations led by the Committee Against Hate Violence. The first, which occurred in March, focused on the topic of anti-semitism.
