1. Air Quality: The air quality continues to be a concern. The Council of Governments (COG) forecasts Code Orange air quality through today. The COG advises residents to avoid mowing lawns unless using an electric mower and filling gas tanks after sunset.

2. Pedestrian Safety Outreach: The MCDOT Pedestrian Safety Team will be outside of Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring to promote pedestrian, driving, and bike safety to the residents of Montgomery County from 4 to 8 p.m.
3. Food Distribution: Events around the county in Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Silver Spring.
