Police have identified the victim of a White Oak area homicide on Wednesday – 40-year-old Cederic Allen Warner, of Silver Spring.
Officers and fire and rescue personnel responded to an apartment in the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive at about 9:51 p.m. for a reported shooting, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Police located Warner inside the apartment with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
With no suspect information and no one in custody, as of Thursday, the investigation remains ongoing. Police advise no imminent community danger citing the circumstances as isolated.
