A man was arrested after carjacking an ambulance early Friday morning near a Rockville hospital and driving it to Arlington County, Virgina, according to WTOP.
The carjacking of the ambulance occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. in the 14900 block of Broschart Road in Rockville, WTOP reported, citing police. Adventist Shady Grove Medical Center is approximately 0.2 miles away from where the carjacking took place.
Virginia State Police officers were able to locate the ambulance on Virginia Route 110 before the exit to Interstate 395, WTOP reported. The man was transported to the Arlington County Jail.
A Montgomery County Police public information officer could not be immediately reached for additional information on the carjacking of the ambulance.
