The 21st Annual Minority Legislative Breakfast takes place on Thursday, Dec. 16. The African American, Asian and Hispanic business communities join together to host the virtual meeting that starts at 9 a.m.
The meeting will be broadcast on YouTube and Facebook.

The three host organizations are:
- The African American Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County (AACC-MC)
- The Asian American Political Alliance (AAPA)
- The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County (HCCMC)
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues that impact the minority business community in Montgomery County. The group develops an agenda of priorities which they present to elected officials who work at the County, State and Federal levels.
Elected officials will present their plans to ensure equity over the coming year. Confirmed elected officials include U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin, U.S. Representatives John Sarbanes, David Trone and Jamie Raskin, Maryland Senator Craig Zucker and Maryland Representative Marc Korman, County Executive Marc Elrich and Councilmember Tom Hucker,
Janice Freeman, president and CEO of the African American Chamber, will make opening remarks. Michael Lin, co-founder and Chair of the Asian American Alliance will speak. Closing remarks will be presented by Carmen Larsen, president of the Hispanic Chamber.
There will be an interactive Zoom session from 10 to 10:30 following the presentation.
