Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating an armed robbery in Rockville, and they say the suspect is still at large. It happened at the Red Roof Plus motel located on the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road on Tuesday around 3:45 p.m.
After further investigation, detectives found that the male suspect entered the motel’s lobby and approached an employee before threatening them with a knife. The suspect then fled with cash from the register, and was last seen on foot in the area of Shady Grove Road and Frederick Road (MD Route 355).
Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect, and would like help from the public in identifying him.

Police say that Crime Solvers may pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
