Wondering who is painting windows in mostly empty buildings throughout Downtown Wheaton with brightly colored renderings of food, flowers and greetings in multi-languages?
Her name is Paige Friedeman of Hyattsville. She also is known as Peijisan Art and @Wheaton Windows. She usually can be seen working on one of her windows Friday nights during Wheaton’s summer concerts in the Marian Fryer Town Plaza on Reedie Drive.
The former dance instructor hopes her artwork will get people talking and even bring more businesses to Wheaton.
