Years ago, kids who wanted to get into sports broadcasting had limited options available until they went to college. Things have changed in the last few years.
The Play By Play Sports Broadcasting Camps organization runs camps in cities all over the country including Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
MyMCM is playing host to the Washington, DC edition of the camp this week. Kids ages 10-18 get the opportunity to meet and learn the ins and outs of broadcasting from play by play announcers, sportscasters, and professional athletes.
