Black Hill Nature Programs is giving the public the opportunity to participate in a kayak tour of Little Seneca Lake in Boyds Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to Montgomery Parks.
The purpose of this tour is to have a relaxing time enjoying the scenery and wildlife of the lake. Visitors can expect to see different animals such as beaver and heron.
Boats, paddles and PFDs are all provided, however, paddling experience is necessary. It is advised to wear a hat and either water sandals or shoes but no flip flops. It is also recommended to wear sunscreen and bring water.
The required registration fee is $30. Participants are expected to meet in front of the gazebo by the boat dock and rental area. More information can be found here.
